2017 is a big year for The Compton Players: it’s our Platinum Anniversary. Yes, it’s 70 years since our first production, and we’re marking it with a big production – Richard III, in the Autumn. You can see the details here. To support this, we’re hoping to hire some impressive costumes and update the lighting at Compton Village Hall to support more LED lights, which will benefit not only this production but future productions as well, and will also be available to other users of the hall.
All this costs more money than we’ve got, and you can help us by making a donation. Every little helps, and the really good news is that the Greenham Trust (formerly the Greenham Common Trust) will match your donation pound for pound. You can see the details of the project and make your donation at our page on The Good Exchange. If your company would like to make a corporate donation, please use this form. We’re grateful for all donations, but with a donation of £10 or more you can become a Patron or Supporter of Compton Players. Please see our Patrons and Supporters page for details.
Thanks for your support, and we hope to see you at Compton in October.
